We leave the
hotel on a small, slightly ascending path through the trees. The
vegatation is abundant and, if we are lucky, we can spot hummingbirds.
Onwards we pass through a rural area. Depending on the time of day,
we see the local inhabitants producing chicha, the corn beer.
We take a country
road which borders the outskirts of the town of Urubamba. Heading
towards it we have a clear view of this small town. Upon arrival
we stroll through the streets of Urubamba and arrive at the workshop
of Pablo Seminario, a local artist who designs his own unique pottery.
We can observe the pottery making and hopefully Pablo himself can
explain a little about his work. We take a car back to the hotel.
